Oh Gustav Mahler. Putting it politely, I’ve had revelatory experiences listening to his music. He led an unfairly interesting life, rising from complete obscurity and family tragedy to become one of the most well-known conductors (and composers) of all time. Blah music blah history blah just look at this man. What greasy Hell-spawned fast food counter do I have to approach to order up a man fried Mahler style with a super-sized side of do-not-disturb? Mmm Mmm Gustav.
